Or you can go to the album reviews section of this site where I have all of the reviews that have been posted in these recent updates typed up there. Thanks to zumby of the PPF boards - PP is the featured artist at Auralgasms.com. Click here to view the PP feature there.

There's a small review of The Guest by Erik Himmelsbach of BLENDER here. I typed it up with Notepad but it'll be under the album reviews section soon. Phantom Planet is featured in the February 28, 2002 issue of Rolling Stone and the March 2002 issue of AP. Source: PPF. Articles coming soon.

This week's Entertainment Weekly has a full page article with a photo of Jason and states that Rushmore is #10/20 of the most romantic modern movies. Source: PPF, Popscene.

02/05/02 - Jason WAS NOT on Last Call with Carson Daly this morning (1:35am)...Some of you who watched probably know that by now...Sorry if my update made you stay up for it!!! INSTEAD, Jason will be on TODAY (which would really be tomorrow morning). Check your local listings.

The other is on Wednesday, 03/06 in Berkeley, CA @ UC Berkeley @ 12pm (FREE SHOW!) in the Lower Sproul Plaza. Source: PPF. The rest of the "Tour Diaries" photos are now up in the photo gallery on PPF. Check those out. Phantom Planet is going to be featured in the Salon Haircare Book and CD that should be in finer hair salons in February. It has pictures/articles of different artists/bands/musicians talking about hair and stuff. The pictures of Phantom Planet that are in this book was from the photo shoot they did last summer @ the Chateau Marmon in Hollywood with David Racuglia. Alex, Jason, and Suzanne wrote the article for the book. Source: Band in the USA #12 (fanclub fanzine). All members of PP (except for Jason) have put Grand Theft Auto 3 as one of their top 3 video games on the tour! Nice. Me and my brother went to go see Slackers yesterday and we left about 30-40 minutes into the movie because it was SO BAD. It was not funny at all, and (as I posted in the PPF message boards) it was endless, pointless, paced-out and unfunnily simplistic. I absolutely hated it. One of the worst movies ever. What was Jason doing?? I do not recommend it. But we did get a refund for our tickets (in the form of another movie ticket) and my brother chose Orange County. I didn't mind seeing it so I watched it, too and it was a good movie. Funny. We stayed for "California" during the credits. Phantom Planet was great on Letterman on the 31st. Oh, you can now hold The Guest on CDNow.com but it says that it will be shipping ON 02/26 so maybe you're better off buying at your local record store. I called Wherehouse Music this morning and they seem to be getting shipments of The Guest and will have it available on the 26th. At least in the bay area.
