I am in PP because I enjoy playing music. I love having an outlet for me to express myself emotionally. I'm also in Phantom Planet because I love learning new musical techniques and theory, and this band is a great place for me to do that. I can have a great time with everyone and learn a lot along the way. We have all grown to be "brothas of different muthas."
The thing I like most about recording is actually listening to the final product. Recording can get very boring and monotonous sometimes. I like everything about touring! I just hate when one of us gets sick!! That always means it will spread and get everyone sick. I like absolutely everything about playing live, with the exception of lugging my equipment around and being rushed. Hmm...I can't say which was the "best," but that Third Eye Blind show in Bakersfield comes to mind.
Well, besides anything band-related, I don't do very much. I've thought about getting a "real" job, but that would be kind of hard. I'd have to ask for random days off all the time. Being in a band can have its consequences, but you have to be willing to go along with it regardless. I try to party as much as possible! Lame, eh?

What kind of car do you drive?
I currently have a Mitsubishi Galant.

Favorite films?
Stand By Me and The Goonies

Favorite place you've visited?
Yosemite National Park

What is important?
Absolutely nothing, yet absolutely everything

What's the worst thing that ever happened to you?
Hmm...I'll have to narrow this way down. The worst thing that ever happened to me was simply being in school in the 9th grade through the 11th grade. I had a horrible time.

The best?
The best thing that ever happened to me was either getting started with Phantom Planet, winning Lollapalooza tickets off of KROQ, playing with Third Eye Blind in Bakersfield, getting my new Fender "Telesonic" special model guitar, or being born!

Describe your most recent dream
My most recent dream was weird. I dreamt that I could levitate a few feet from the ground and move at very high speeds. I seem to have flying dreams one way or another.

Describe you most recent nightmare
I don't have nightmares very often. I don't even remember what my last nightmare was...Great, now I'll probably have a nightmare because I'm talking about it!

Favorite piece of clothing?
My new jeans that are a bit different than ordinary jeans. I wear them way too often.

Favorite cereal?
Currently my favorite cereals are: Product 19, Crispix, and of course, Fruity Pebbles.

Dream girl?
I like to dream about girls...too bad I am flying in my dreams most of the time!

If you could be someone else for a day, who whould you be?
Wow...I guess I'd be Don Knotts. I don't know why. I just love his name.

If Phantom Planet were a food, what would it be and why?
Hmm...a filet mignon...Tender, juicy, damn good, and a little bad for you...

Any near death experiences?
Nope...although I almost got killed yesterday by a car that ran a red light.

Who do you respect?
Everyone I come in contact with. Everyone should be respected the way you'd like to be respected.

What other musicians do you admire?
So many...Stevie Ray Vaughn, any virtuoso guitar player, many classical musicians, and anyone that can do something musically that I can't. (That's a lot of people.)

If you could change anything about America, what would it be?
Politics in general. Most politicians are full of it.

The best and worst thing about girls?
Everything and everything...that's the best answer I can give.

If you weren't doing this, what would you be doing?
I don't really know...I would probably, *gulp*, go back to school or take classes independently.

What gives you inspiration?
Well, everything! I know that's a bit of a let down answer, but it's actually the truth.

What do you think about when you play live?
I think about music, chords, patterns, techniques, taking over the world, going clinically insane, nothing, and rockin'! (I usually just let my emotions take control.)

What would you like to tell your fans?
You guys and gals rock! Thank you so much for your support! We sincerely appreciate it.
